My mother taught me this recipe, and it works great for steaks, baked potatoes, and BBQ-food, as well as a spread for bread all on its own.
You need:

  • Mayonnaise
  • Onion (I usually use shallots)
  • Chives
  • Tomato ketchup
  • Garlic (I usually use chinese)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Cut the onion and garlic finely, and the chives a bit rougher. Mix the mayo, onions, chives and garlic together. Season to taste with tomato ketchup, salt and pepper.
